If you don’t make time for your wellness,

you’ll be forced to make time for your illness.

…read that again.

- Joyce Sunada

why I believe in a

       holistic approach

As an INFJ (shout out to Myers-Briggs!), I’ve always sought depth—in understanding people, experiences, and most importantly, myself. I’m not just interested in how you’re doing on the surface; I want to uncover what lies beneath. What drives you? What challenges do you face? My innate curiosity fuels me to delve into my own journey, empowering me to help others along theirs.

In my early years, I believed healing was solely about the physical body. But as I evolved, I uncovered a profound truth: true healing encompasses our emotional, mental, and spiritual selves. This realization expanded my perspective and led me to incorporate coaching into my practice.

I’m continually learning how to embrace the full spectrum of healing, understanding that it's not just about fixing; it’s about nurturing and guiding every layer of the person—body, mind, and soul. From my own experiences, I know that recovery is rarely a neat, linear path. It’s often messy, filled with setbacks and doubts.
But here’s the reality: recovery can also be deeply beautiful.

It’s in those moments of raw support, deep authenticity, and quiet victories that we realize we’ve moved forward, even if we’re not where we thought we’d be. Recovery may not always match our expectations, but it can still be powerful and restorative. It’s not easy, but it’s real—and sometimes, that’s the most important part of all.

If you’ve tried every treatment (and maybe even surgery) without finding relief, it’s time for a fresh perspective—and I’m here to offer just that.

  • Dealing with pelvic pain or bowel and bladder issues? Telehealth physical therapy can be a game-changer for many of these concerns!

However, for some pelvic health conditions, in-person physical therapy may be the best option. If that’s the case, don’t worry—I’ll help you find a pelvic floor therapist near you.

  • I also treat a variety of other concerns—just reach out, and we can discuss if I can help.

    • Migraines and Headaches

coaching

    • I’m here to help you take the reins of your recovery journey.

    • We’ll tap into your strengths, uncover your values, and set clear goals—all while learning powerful coping skills and relapse prevention strategies.

    • Along the way, I can connect you with helpful resources that can support your recovery journey.

    • We’ll celebrate every win, and when setbacks happen, we’ll face them with compassion and no judgment.

Cheers to that! (And yep, we’re raising a glass of tea or water—because you’ll be sober and proud!)

    • I’m here to help your mind, body, and spirit get in sync.

    • Whether it’s making lifestyle and habit changes, building a physical wellness routine, tapping into your creative side, or even exploring your spiritual path—we’ll work together to create lasting change.

    • You’re in control of your wellness, and I’m here to support you, encourage your exploration, and empower you to take action.

    • Mental health coaching is like having a physical therapist for your brain—no dumbbells required (unless you’re into that too). Instead, we’re lifting the weight of stress, anxiety, and life's challenges.

    • No shame, just a safe space to explore why you feel the way you do and work together on building coping strategies, all while giving you the space to breathe and just be.

    • It’s not about making you a zen master overnight. It is about giving you the tools to become mentally strong.

*I also encourage seeking support from a qualified mental health professional, like a therapist, if it’s right for you.

    • As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand the fear of judgment for being true to who you are.

    • LGBTQ+ coaching is about helping you to live authentically, embrace your individuality, and build a life that reflects your true self. It’s not about finding the ‘right’ way to live, but about creating a path that’s uniquely yours.

    • Whether you're questioning, transitioning, or simply learning to embrace your authentic self, I’m here to support your journey and remind you of your worth.

    • I’m here to help you navigate the challenges of chronic or persistent pain and illness—not with quick fixes, but with practical strategies, tools, and plenty of support to help you feel empowered, even on the tough days.

    • Let’s be honest—the healthcare system can sometimes feel like a chaotic maze.

    • Together, we’ll address the struggles that often come with living with pain or chronic illness—whether it’s anxiety, depression, strained relationships, sleep difficulties, or the need to live a meaningful life despite the challenges.

    • I’m committed to challenging the status quo and advocating for better care for all the pain warriors out there.

    • Stress Management Techniques: Strategies to help you manage stress and restore balance in your life.

    • Coping with Self-Injurious Behavior: Approaches for addressing and reducing self-harm behaviors while promoting healing and self-compassion.

    • Workaholism and Burnout (Especially in Healthcare): Practical tools to recognize, prevent, and recover from work-related stress and burnout, particularly in high-pressure fields like healthcare.
