Yes. A blend of ‘required’ and ‘optional’ forms will be sent out before your first session via email. They allow me to gain insight into your intentions and goals for seeking out Z+Z services and can save time during our session to focus on you.
I read the forms thoroughly before your session, so you can trust none of your time is wasted!

One of the most frustrating aspects of healthcare, especially for those with multiple conditions, is the lack of collaboration among professionals. At Z+Z, working together to improve the quality of care is a top priority.
I’m passionate about collaborating with professionals from various fields—psychologists, rheumatologists, massage therapists, and more. Whether you already have a support network or need help building one, I’d be honored to be a part of it.
*I always stay within my scope of care as a PT and coach and will refer you to other professionals if necessary.

At Z+Z, you are welcome exactly as you are. Unfortunately, not all healthcare professionals provide inclusive care. Sexual and gender minorities (SGMs) face significant health disparities, with LGBT+ individuals twice as likely to experience discrimination during healthcare visits.
I will treat you with respect and care, regardless of what you bring to the session. Please also feel free to let me know if there are topics you prefer not to discuss.

Introductions: We’ll start with introductions and take time to build rapport, establishing a comfortable, trusting relationship.
Goals & Expectations: Based on the forms you filled out, I’ll ask about your goals, aspirations, and what you hope to achieve through coaching.
Assessment & Exploration: Through thoughtful questions, we’ll create awareness and insights to guide progress toward your goals.
Action Planning: Together, we’ll develop an action plan, breaking larger goals into manageable steps and identifying necessary resources and support.
Reflection: If desired, I can offer reflective exercises for you to complete between sessions to deepen self-awareness and reinforce your progress.

Device with Camera & Microphone: Use a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone. A laptop or tablet is ideal for a larger viewing area.
Stable Internet Connection: Make sure you have a reliable, strong internet connection to avoid disruptions during the session.
Quiet, Spacious Area: Choose a space where you can participate without distractions and privacy, if desired.
Pen & Paper: Keep a pen and paper handy to jot down any questions or useful information during the session.

Coaching is not therapy or counseling.
While therapy skillfully often addresses past traumas and mental health issues, coaching is action-oriented and focuses on creating positive change and moving forward.
There are many brilliant therapists and counselors who may be vital to your healing journey. I always work within my scope as a coach and can recommend a therapist or counselor if needed, potentially in addition to coaching.
